Sun State Quartet
******** ANNOUNCEMENT ********
It is with deep regret and extreme personal sadness that I have no choice but to announce the immediate resignation of tenor vocalist, co-owner / co-manager and my very best friend Richard Alderman. Richard and his family will be moving to Knoxville, Tennessee and he will start his new position there in August.
Richard and his family have been a very important part of Sun State for two and a half years and more importantly, a very vital, essential, and coveted part of my life personally. There were not many times in that two and half years that we did not talk to one another just about every day, sometimes more. We did a lot of things together, not only the two of us, but our families as well. This is a very difficult time for me and I am really struggling to cope with it. To say "I'm shocked" by this announcement would not even begin to describe how I feel. I am deeply saddened and heart broken that I am losing the best friend and best partner in the whole world. I want to take this opportunity to thank Richard for the talent he possesses, the passion he shows, the laughter he gives, the hard work with every aspect of this ministry and most of all, I thank him for the kind, loving, trusted, valuable friendship that we both share for each other. My life has forever been changed with my time spent with him and his family and I will miss them very much. I would like to also express my deepest, sincerest, heartfelt thanks to his lovely wife Brandy for sharing her husband with me for those two and a half years and for welcoming Sandy & I into their lives. It is time that was very special to me and it will be cherished and held dear in my heart for as long as I breath. To his daughter Emma and sons Tommy & Brendyn, thank you for sharing your daddy with me and for your part in my life. I've watched you grow and have laughed with you. Uncle Lenny loves you very much and will miss you terribly. Now that you are leaving, going to see Shamu at Sea World will never be the same again. Richard and his family are still, and always will be, welcomed in my life until the end of time. Nothing will ever take away the memories that we have developed with our time spent together. As long as I am the owner and manager of this group, the following "appreciation" pictures will be on the web-site and will have it's own "Richard" page. For now they will be here for everyone to see as soon as the web-site opens.
Richard, Brandy, Emma, Tommy & Brendyn.
You are loved far more than you can ever imagine................
